CBF Festival of Trees will aid families affected by cancer
EPHRATA – The Columbia Basin Foundation invites the community to embrace the magic of the holidays during its third annual Festival of Trees, a celebration of generosity, community spirit, and festive cheer.
From Dec. 1–11, visitors are invited to stop by the foundation’s office, 101 Basin St. N.W., to view 11 exquisitely decorated Christmas trees and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to take one home. One tree will also be hosted in the lobby of First Interstate Bank, located at 66 Basin St. S.W.
Raffle tickets for the 2025 fundraiser will be available for $5 each or six for $25. They can be purchased during regular office hours on the following dates and times:
- Monday through Thursday, Dec. 1-4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 8-10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Special open house – Thursday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Raffle winners will be notified on Friday, Dec. 12.
All proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will be shared equally among four local organizations dedicated to supporting families affected by cancer:
• Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation
• Childhood Cancer Coalition
• Jayda Harmon's Children's Cancer Fund
• Cancer Care of North Central Washington
