EPHRATA YOUTH BASEBALL REGISTRATION

Registration is now open for EYB's 2026 season. Divisions: T-Ball (ages 5-6), $60; Rookies/Coach Pitch (7-8), $70; Minors (9-10), $85; Majors (11-12), $90. Players must meet minimum age requirement as of May 1. Register at ephratayouthbaseball.com or email ephratayb@gmail.com with questions.

CITY LEAGUE GIRLS BASKETBALL

Jan. 25 is the last chance to sign up for City League Girls Basketball. The six-week season begins Feb. 17 and runs Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $35, and volunteer coaches' kids play free. Click here to register.

VEGAS NIGHTS SILENT AUCTION

Saturday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima School. Tickets are $25 and include dinner catered by A-Crew Catering and a non-alcoholic beverage. Proceeds benefit FFA sponsorships and student scholarships. Hosted by Ephrata FFA Alumni & Supporters.

EPHRATA HIGH SCHOOL CHEER CAMP

Saturday, Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at Ephrata High School commons and gym. Open to grades pre-K through 8. Cost is $50 per participant and includes a t-shirt and poms. Participants will perform at halftime of the unified basketball game Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. Register at GoFan.com or at the door with cash or card.

WAYPOINT FOUNDATION SCHOLASTIC CHESS TOURNAMENT

Feb. 7, 8 a.m., Parkway School cafeteria, Ephrata. Free annual tournament for K-12 students in Grant and Adams counties. Five rounds with cash prizes (first place $500); pizza lunch provided for participants. Limited to 100 players. Register by Feb. 6 here.
