EPHRATA — Ephrata dropped a non-league volleyball matchup to Manson 3-0 on Tuesday, falling by scores of 25-9, 25-15 and 25-15.

The Lady Tigers struggled to find a rhythm against a strong Manson squad, dropping their record to 0-2 in Central Washington Athletic Conference play and 0-5 overall.

Backed by her teammates, Tiger hitter Alexis Chornuk (3) powered up for a kill during Tuesday's match against Manson.

Despite the loss, Ephrata continues to gain experience as a young team, looking ahead to upcoming conference matches to find their stride. The Tigers face another challenge this evening, hosting unbeaten Prosser (5-0) at Marty O’Brien Court tonight at 6:30 p.m.

This story will be updated with statistics when available.

In other CWAC action this week, East Valley (Yakima) beat Grandview 3-0, Othello outlasted Quincy 3-0, and Ellensburg blanked Toppenish 3-0.
