Kids, critters & cowpokes: it's Grant County Fair time
MOSES LAKE – Kids, critters, a carnival, Space Burgers, live music and more: it’s Grant County Fair time.
The county’s 2025 summer celebration opens Tuesday, Aug. 12 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 16, at the fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake.
Organizers say the fair showcases the county’s excellence in agriculture, industry, and people, both young and old.

This week, there’ll also be plenty of action next door on Paxson Drive when the Columbia Basin Rodeo Association hosts its annual demolition derby Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, followed Thursday through Saturday with top cowboys and cowgirls competing in the PRCA-sanctioned Moses Lake Roundup rodeo.
The fairgrounds will open daily to the public at 10 a.m. Closing times are 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Carnival operating times are 2 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Friday, and noon to midnight on Saturday.
Fair admission is free all day on Tuesday and before 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Individual day passes purchased at the gate cost $10 for adults and $6 for both youth ages 8-17 and seniors ages 62 and older. Children age 7 and younger are admitted free. Discounts are available for online purchases, families, and individual season passes for the entire week. Wristbands good for a day of unlimited carnival rides cost $40, with a $2 discount available if purchased online.
