SOAP LAKE — The Bard of Avon is coming to Soap Lake.

And for anyone who has contemplated reading the 37 plays of William Shakespeare but never quite found the time — or vowed never to read them — the Masquers Theater has a deal for you.

Directed by Masquers veteran Adam Zaleski, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” will be presented in less than two hours during a fun romp through all of the legendary playwright’s performances.

“Remember, ‘All the World’s a Stage,’ and we can’t wait to share ours with you,” Zaleski said in a press release.

The three-member cast of Cassi Nelson, Kristina Allman, and Blane Schafer will deliver the witty, fast-paced literary crash course beginning on Opening Night, Friday, Feb. 13. How lucky is that?

Weekend show dates and times continue at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 14, Feb. 20-21, and Feb. 27-28. Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. are planned on Feb. 15, Feb. 22, and March 1.

For more information and tickets, visit the Masquers website. Season ticket holders and comp ticket recipients are asked to call the box office at 509-246-2611 regarding seat reservations.

Physical and full of laughs, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” was written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. It has been translated into dozens of languages and remains one of the world’s more frequently produced plays.

The Masquers Theater is located at 322 E. Main Ave. in Soap Lake.
