The Tigers are now 4-5 overall and 0-1 in the Central Washington Athletic Conference.

On Tuesday, March 31, the Tigers dropped a 5-1 decision to visiting Ellensburg. Avian Soto scored for Ephrata in the 36th minute to go ahead in 1-0 in the match. But the Bulldogs' Angel Aparico answered just two minutes later. Aparico and Alejandro Lasso then combined for four second-half goals to pull away.

Ephrata bounced back on Saturday, March 28, routing College Place 6-1 on the road. Scoring statistics for that match were not available at the time of publication.

Last Thursday (March 26), the Tigers fell to visiting Wapato 4-3. Junior Chavez booted one goal and added two assists while Fernando Ramirez and Rafael Jimenez also scored for Ephrata. Goalkeeper Isaac Blancas made six saves in the contest.

Wapato's Oscar Martinez scored twice in the first half, and the Tigers trailed 3-2 at the break. Jimenez pulled Ephrata to within one in the second half, but a goal by the Wolves' Anthony Urbina with just four minutes remaining sealed their win.

This Saturday (April 4), Ephrata looks forward to a rematch when Othello comes to town. The Huskies handed the Tigers a 3-2 defeat on March 26, and Ephrata hopes to redeem the loss in front of a home crowd. Kickoff is at noon.
