Are you ready for some football?
Tiger quarterback Brady Hendrick gestures to a downfield receiver on a pass play during Friday evening’s four-team, round-robin football jamboree hosted at Ephrata High School’s Kiwanis Field.

The answer is yes.

Ephrata hosted a four-team football jamboree Friday evening at Kiwanis Field. Along with head coach Patrick Mitchell's Tigers, participants included Moses Lake, Royal, and Wenatchee high schools.

A large contigent of fans from all four communities arrived to watch the ballclubs — varsities, jayvees, and C squads — scrimmage in preparation for their respective openers in September. Under the round-robin format, each team got 10 plays from mid-field on offense and defense against the trio of opponents. In an atmosphere that was both laid-back and hard-hitting, the jamboree provided an opportunity for coaches, players, referees – even photographers – to assess their readiness for the 2025 prep season.

Take a look.
