WILSON CREEK – On foot and on floats, mini-bikes and fire trucks, horseback and Willys Jeeps, Wilson Creek hosted a community parade Saturday on a splendid fall morning to kick off its Harvest Fest celebration.

Plenty of friendly hand waves – and a ton of tossed candy – were exchanged between parade entrants, families and visitors who lined the route along Railroad Street.

The small town, family friendly event later included kid games and bounce houses in the city park, a quilt show, corn hole and horseshoe tournaments, food and commercial vendors, vintage tractors that hailed back to Wilson Creek’s early farming roots, and more.

Here's a look.
