TOURISM COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT
EPHRATA – Grant County commissioners are accepting applications from residents for appointment to a volunteer position on the tourism advisory committee representing the northern portion of the county.
The District 1 area extends from Grand Coulee down to east of Moses Lake and includes the communities and rural areas of Electric City, Hartline, Coulee City, Wilson Creek, Soap Lake, and Ephrata.
“The ideal candidate works in or has experience with the tourism industry,” commissioners said in a press statement.
Committee members are not paid, but those who live outside of Ephrata may be eligible for travel compensation. Meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the courthouse in Ephrata.
Prospective candidates must complete an application that can be found on the county website. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
