GRANT PUD SURVEYS

EPHRATA – Grant PUD is seeking public feedback on a pair of brief surveys: one regarding clean energy, the other on the district’s Crescent Bar Recreation Area along the Columbia River.

The 11-question energy survey is part of a planning process to comply with the state’s Clean Energy Transformation Act requiring utilities to remove air-polluting carbon from energy sources.

Survey topics include ranking electrical generation from such sources as hydropower, wind, solar, natural gas, and nuclear power production. Respondents are also queried on their interest in electric vehicles and charging systems, energy saving devices such as smart thermostats, and potential for credits on utility bills.

The six-question Crescent Bar survey asks respondents which amenities or features they are most interested in at the popular recreation site, whether they are Grant PUD customers, if they were aware that Crescent Bar was developed by the PUD, and how they accessed the survey.

Both surveys are anonymous.
