NewsMatch: Beginning Nov. 1, your gift to local news can be matched
GCJ.news is the independent, nonprofit newsroom covering Ephrata, Soap Lake and Grant County. This year we're taking part in NewsMatch, the national campaign that matches reader gifts to local nonprofit newsrooms. From Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, your gift goes at least twice as far.
Gifts are tax-deductible. GCJ.news is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 39-2507414.
The campaign begins Nov. 1
How the match works
One-time gifts
Doubled, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000.
New monthly gifts
Matched at 12 times your monthly amount, up to $1,000. A new $10 monthly gift brings in $120.
Through Dec. 31
We can earn up to $16,000 in matching funds toward our $70,000 goal.
Matching funds come from NewsMatch, a national campaign led by the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) to help communities build lasting support for local nonprofit news.
