ST. ROSE SCHOOL TO HOST ANNUAL AUCTION NOV. 8
EPHRATA – St. Rose of Lima Catholic School will host its 42nd annual auction, A Time for Peace, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the school, 520 Nat Washington Way in Ephrata.
Guests are invited to join for a groovy good time, with the silent auction beginning at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., and the live auction starting at 7 p.m. Tickets and tables available for purchase here.
CITY OF MOSES LAKE COLLECTING FOR FOOD BANK
MOSES LAKE – The City of Moses Lake will be collecting canned food, diapers, infant formula, and feminine hygiene products for the Moses Lake Food Bank.
Donations will be accepted from Nov. 1-22 and will be delivered to the food bank before Thanksgiving. Items may be dropped off at the Museum & Art Center, 401 S. Balsam St., Fire Station No. 1, 701 E. Third Ave., and the Larson Recreation Center, 610 Yakima Ave.
"Every donation supports a commitment to community and directly provides essential resources to local families," MAC officials said in a press release.
VETERANS DAY CONCERT
QUINCY – Veterans Operation Creation will present a special Veterans Day concert on Nov. 11 featuring country music star Coffey Anderson.
The family friendly event is slated for 7 p.m. at the Quincy High School Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are available online or from the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce (call 509-787-2140). Military veterans and active-duty service members will be admitted free.
The program is intended to honor those who serve "with a night filled with faith, family, and freedom," say sponsors.
Veterans Operation Creation is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and building strong communities.
ST. ROSE HOLIDAY BAZAAR
EPHRATA – The annual St. Rose Y.L.I. Ladies Holiday Bazaar is scheduled Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the St. Rose of Lima School gym, 520 Nat Washington Way.
There will be gifts, crafts, food, and drawings available. Admission is free.
"Come and shop items from local vendors, enjoy some lunch, and grab a tasty cinnamon roll," say organizers.
