Festive trees add sparkle to CBF fundraiser to aid cancer families
EPHRATA – The Columbia Basin Foundation invites the community to embrace the magic of the holidays during its third annual “Festival of Trees” fundraising event.
From now through Dec. 11, visitors may stop by the foundation office, 101 Basin St. N.W., to view 11 exquisitely decorated Christmas trees and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to take one home. Another tree is hosted in the lobby of First Interstate Bank, 66 Basin St. S.W.
Raffle tickets for this year’s fundraiser cost $5 each or six for $25 and may be purchased during regular office hours on the following dates and times:
- Monday through Thursday, Dec. 1-4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 8-10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Special open house : Thursday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Raffle winners will be notified on Friday, Dec. 12.
All proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will be shared by four local organizations which support families affected by cancer: Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, Childhood Cancer Coalition, Jayda Harmon's Children's Cancer Fund, and Cancer Care of North Central Washington.
