The following law enforcement reports were posted Friday, Aug. 14, 2026:
EPHRATA POLICE
A trespassing/unwanted incident was reported at 11:42 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in the 300 block of Basin Street S.W. Police were told that a male subject had previously been entering a local business and making a female employee feel uncomfortable. On Thursday morning, the man entered an office where the woman was working, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the cheek. The incident is under investigation.
A report of suspicious activity was received at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in the 200 block of Nob Hill Drive. Police were told an unknown suspect tried to set a neighbor’s house on fire. The fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of officers, who spoke with occupants at the residence. The area was searched, but no one matching the suspect’s description was located.
A disturbance was reported at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the 300 block of E Street N.E. Police were told that several teenagers were fighting in an apartment complex parking lot. Officers questioned individuals at the scene, who said two subjects were “working on a relationship” which a third person disliked. An argument ensued and one person attempted to start a fight, but fled when another person intervened.
SOAP LAKE POLICE
Police were notified at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, of a three-vehicle, non-injury collision on Second Avenue S.E. near the intersection of Ginkgo Street. An officer contacted a driver who said he was looking at a house while driving east and his vehicle drifted to the right and struck two other vehicles. The various parties exchanged information. A Grant County sheriff’s deputy also assisted at the scene.
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Ash Street. The complainant said an unknown vehicle was parked behind her car at the residence. An officer responded to the location and contacted a male subject sleeping inside a van. The man was informed he could not camp within city limits and complied with the officer’s directive to leave the premises.
Police and Grant County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 of a disturbance on Fifth Avenue S.E. Officers contacted a woman who said her boyfriend was “being aggressive.” Police said a report will be submitted to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of a charge of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) against the male subject.
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday on South Daisy Street. Police were told a male subject was observed dancing in the street and then on the sidewalk. An officer contacted the man, who was advised not to dance or walk in the roadway or impede traffic.
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 6:41 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, on Third Avenue S.E. Police were told a male subject wielding a machete was chopping at trees. Similar reports had previously been received about the same individual. Officers located the man and determined he posed a danger to himself. He was taken into custody and transported to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata for a mental health evaluation.
The following subjects were cited for driving with suspended licenses following recent traffic stops: Robin Carlberg, 36, Soap Lake; Sergey Didok, 45, Soap Lake.
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the 12600 block of Road C.5-NW, south of Ephrata. The complainant told authorities that someone was trying to force their way into her residence. No immediate arrests were reported in connection with the incident.
A theft was reported at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday at the Moses Pointe Golf Course in the 4500 block of Westshore Drive NE. Authorities were told that batteries and diesel fuel valued at $5,500 had been stolen sometime over the weekend. No suspects were immediately identified.
MOSES LAKE POLICE
At noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, police were notified by office staff that a male subject had applied on July 10 to purchase a Glock 10mm handgun from Sportsman’s Warehouse, but the application was denied because the man had a prior felony conviction for criminal mischief with a deadly weapon stemming from an incident in 2017. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Donte Vontrell Scott of Moses Lake, allegedly told police staff in a subsequent conversation that he was confused because he had been allowed to purchase a shotgun in 2025. Detectives said they confirmed that Scott’s gun rights had not been restored by the courts. A warrant was obtained and officers searched Scott’s residence in the 1100 block of East Hill Drive. Police said they located a shotgun and three handguns, plus ammunition and ammo magazines. A female subject at the residence said the handguns belonged to her. Police also confiscated an estimated one pound of marijuana and a “large bag” of psilocybin mushrooms, according to the MLPD report. Scott was taken into custody, booked into jail, and charged in Grant County Superior Court with second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of possession with intent to manufacture or distribute a controlled substance. Scott pled not guilty to the felony charges during an Aug. 13 arraignment, when bail was set at $500 and a Sept. 23 trial date was scheduled.
QUINCY POLICE
At 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, police were notified that a 4-year-old boy was found unattended in the roadway at the intersection of Second Avenue and H Street S.E. Officers searched the area but did not locate anyone who appeared to be looking for the child. The boy was transported to the police station, where he was held until personnel from state Child Protective Services arrived about two hours later and took him to their Moses Lake office. During that time, police did not receive any calls regarding a missing child. Between noon and 2 p.m., police responded to two separate unrelated incidents at a residence in the 100 block of H Street S.E. Officers spoke with a female subject, identified as 24-year-old Sury Valencia Hernandez, who did not inform them about a missing child, according to the report. Around 2:24 p.m., police received a call from a woman saying her son, Sebastian, was missing from the home of her niece, Sury, who was supposed to be babysitting him. When subsequently questioned by police, Valencia Hernandez allegedly claimed she had put the child down for a nap around noon, then noticed he was missing around 2 p.m. and tried to notify her aunt. Officers informed Valencia Hernandez they had located the boy hours earlier. Valencia Hernandez was taken into custody, booked into jail, and charged in Grant County Superior Court with reckless endangerment, second-degree abandonment of a dependent person, and making false statements to a public servant. During an Aug. 12 arraignment, she pled not guilty to the charges and was later released on her own recognizance pending an Oct. 28 trial.

EPHRATA POLICE
At 10:04 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, police responded to a residence in the 100 block of H Street S.E. where a young girl inadvertently closed a door which locked her family outside. An officer was able to open a small window and “contort his way into (the home) and save the day,” the report stated.
A report of threats was received at 6:04 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Third Avenue N.E. A woman told police that she was being stalked and harassed by tenants in her apartment complex. However, other individuals on scene said the woman initiated the yelling when she threatened to call immigration officers on a tenant who said she was scared for her safety. Officers explained the processes for obtaining no-contact and anti-harassment court orders.
A theft was reported at 11:12 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of D Street S.W. Police were told that unknown persons had tampered with the victim’s surveillance cameras to avoid being seen before stealing tools from the bed of a pickup truck.
A theft was reported at 10:41 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Basin Street S.W. Police were advised that a male subject pushed out a cart of merchandise from the Ephrata Safeway store without paying. Officers were able to identify the suspect, who was contacted at his residence by Soap Lake police. The merchandise was recovered and the man was permanently banned from Safeway. A report will be submitted to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of criminal charges.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 6:07 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of D Street S.E. Police contacted a woman who said she works all day while her adult son stays home and does nothing around the house. A verbal argument ensued with “a lot of name calling” and the mother switching off electrical power to the residence at the breaker panel. Officers determined no crime occurred and cleared the scene.
While on patrol at 11:46 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, an officer observed an erratically driven vehicle on Alder Street and later on South Basin Street. Following a traffic stop and field sobriety tests, Joseph P. Ruelas, 22, Quincy, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence.
At 4:17 p.m. Sunday, an officer located a wanted subject near the intersection of D Street and Ninth Avenue S.E. David Lee Walker, 38, Ephrata, was taken into custody on outstanding district court and state detention warrants and booked into the Grant County Jail.
A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported at 6:24 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the 1200 block of Basin Street S.W. Police said Miguel M. Barragan Robles, 38, Wenatchee, was attempting a left turn into a business driveway when his 2024 Dodge Ram pickup struck the rear driver’s door of a 2017 Honda Civic driven by Juan G. Martinez Anguiano, 22, Moses Lake, who was northbound on Basin Street and had the right-of-way. Both vehicles sustained reportable damage.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:53 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of D Street S.W. The complainant alleged a female acquaintance assaulted him by ripping his shirt. Jaylean Marie Levell, 36, Bellingham, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
At 11:46 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, police assisted the Washington State Patrol by locating a suspected impaired driver at a local residence. A 23-year-old Ephrata woman was taken into custody, transported to the county jail, and transferred to WSP custody for processing.
A harassment incident was reported at 7:55 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Third Avenue N.E. The complainant said she had been yelled at by a male neighbor across the alleyway because of her loud music. An officer advised the woman to either not play loud music outside, or go inside if her neighbor yells at her.
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF
A domestic disturbance was reported at 4:59 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 in the 8400 block of Lybbert Drive NE near Moses Lake. The complainant said a male family member just broke down a bedroom door in the residence. Deputies responded to the location and arrested Rusty Allen Shumaker, 46, Moses Lake, on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence). He was booked into the Grant County Jail.
At 5:47 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, deputies responded to an agency assistance request in the 8900 block of Crescent Bar Road NW. Authorities were told that CPR rescue efforts were underway for a male subject who was unconscious and not breathing after being found at the bottom of a swimming pool. Efforts to revive the man were unsuccessful and the body was placed into the custody of the Grant County Coroner’s Office.
A report of an erratically driven vehicle was received at 1:31 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Roads L-NE and 3.7-NE near Moses Lake. Authorities were told that a driver in a gray-colored Volkswagen station wagon appeared to be “playing chicken” with other vehicles by repeatedly swerving into the oncoming lane.
A theft was reported at 10:13 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Road E-NW, about 11 miles south of Ephrata. Authorities were told that tools and a hydraulic radiator had been stolen overnight from Agrex Inc., an agricultural commodities company. Deputies located a suspect in the Quincy area and engaged in a vehicle pursuit which ended when the suspect crashed into a shallow irrigation canal. Cody William Seely, 38, Coulee City, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass, and attempting to elude police.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:19 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of West Cascade Avenue near Moses Lake. The complainant said his nephew was fighting with a girlfriend at the location. Colton R. Gannon, 22, Moses Lake, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:38 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the 7600 block of Road O-NW near Quincy. The complainant alleged a female family member had been drinking and was throwing things and behaving in an abusive manner. Esperanza Louisa Gonzales, 29, Quincy, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 12:01 a.m. Saturday at a location in the 600 block of Road Q-NE near Moses Lake. The complainant said a male acquaintance was in the vicinity in violation of a court domestic-violence restraining order. Ramon David Noggles, 49, Coulee City, was located, taken into custody for the alleged violation, and booked into jail.
While on patrol at 10:26 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, a deputy performed a traffic stop of a suspected impaired driver near the intersection of Roads A-NW and 9-NW, south of Ephrata. Ramon Franco Delgado, 65, Quincy, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted driving under the influence.
A theft was reported at 6:40 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Road O-NE near Moses Lake. Authorities were told that GPS signal domes and display monitors valued over $15,000 had been stolen from tractors. The incident was under investigation.

EPHRATA POLICE
Police were notified at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, by the Washington Developmental Disabilities Administration office in Moses Lake that an Ephrata man had made comments saying he would commit suicide if he did not get help for his disabled daughter. Officers contacted the man, who acknowledged he was “beyond frustrated” but would never do anything to leave his daughter alone. The man agreed to get help, and officers notified Grant County Renew behavioral services, who said they would contact the man.
At 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, police were contacted by a resident on G Street N.W. who said his phone was not working and he was having trouble reaching his service provider. An officer assisted the man in reaching the provider’s call center and arranging for a technician to visit the following day.
While on patrol at 3:52 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, an officer observed a vehicle “no bumper” violation in the vicinity of C Street and 10th Avenue S.W. Following a traffic stop, Hunter J. Cook, 22, Ephrata, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
At 12:19 p.m. Monday, police located a male subject in the 600 block of Third Avenue S.E. who was a suspect in a vehicle prowl in the 200 block of Maringo Road and a previous vehicle prowl reported on July 20 in the first block of Loma Place. Daniel Kyle Lewis, 32, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree vehicle prowl, second-degree possession of stolen property, and second- and third-degree theft. He was booked into the Grant County Jail.
At 11:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, police located a wanted subject in the 1200 block of the Berschauer Industrial complex. Oscar Javier Ramirez Reyes, 39, of Ephrata, was a suspect in a citizen’s report Saturday morning of a malfunctioning ATM in the 200 block of Basin S.W. that appeared to be tampered with. Following a review of surveillance video, Reyes was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted first-degree theft, attempted first-degree identity theft, and making or possessing burglary tools.
At 8:47 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, police were notified of a domestic disturbance in a vehicle traveling in the vicinity of Basin Street and First Avenue N.W. The driver pulled over and officers contacted occupants in the vehicle. A male subject, 21-year-old Justin Alexzander Davis of Ephrata, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 10:46 p.m. last Friday, July 31, in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. The complainant said he observed an open container of beer in a vehicle parked outside the Ephrata Walmart. An officer contacted the male driver after he exited the store and instructed him to pour out the beer. The man voluntarily submitted to a blood-alcohol test, was deemed not impaired, and released to drive.
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 10:18 p.m. last Friday in the 700 block of Parkway Boulevard S.W. Police were told screaming could be heard in the area. An officer contacted a group of individuals gathered at a gravesite at the Ephrata Cemetery and determined they were mourning the loss of a recently deceased person.
At 2:45 p.m. last Friday, a woman made a lobby contact at the police department. The woman told officers that she was married but separated from her husband. She alleged he had been recording her private conversations with her “new man,” but was scared because she did not know how her husband was doing that. Police indicated they would follow up on her report.
SOAP LAKE POLICE
At 5:11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, police were contacted by an Ephrata resident regarding a male subject sleeping in an open space in the 100 block of D Street N.W. An officer identified the man from a submitted photo and contacted area family members, who said the man had been behaving “out of the norm.” The man was escorted from the property.
At 7:12 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, police responded to a theft report in the 200 block of East Main Avenue. An officer was told that two rafts, a double kayak, and a gas can had been stolen two days earlier. The loss was estimated at $2,000. No suspects were immediately identified.
A trespassing incident was reported at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the 300 block of East Main Avenue. Police were told a male subject had returned to the location after previously being trespassed for failing to pay for a meal. Breeze Edward Bevington, 50, listed as transient, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and booked into the Grant County Jail.
At 2:51 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, police were notified of a home burglary in progress in the 100 block of South Division Street. Officers assisted by Ephrata police responded to the location and took a male subject into custody after he exited the premises out the back door. Russell Hunter Dees, 34, listed as transient, was booked into the county jail on suspicion of residential burglary and outstanding superior court warrants.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:02 p.m. last Friday, July 31, at a location near the intersection of State Route 28 West and Road A-NW. Authorities said a female subject had a physical confrontation with a 34-year-old Soap Lake woman. Amber Valdez, 55, Soap Lake, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
The following individuals were cited for driving with suspended or invalid licenses following recent traffic stops: Lea Valencia Valencia, 21, Soap Lake; Justice Whitaker, 27, Ephrata; Michael Wenz, 46, Ephrata; Robert Hash, 66, Moses Lake; Keaton Adams, 36, Soap Lake; Sergey Didok, 45, Soap Lake.
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF
A trespassing incident was reported at 3:38 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at an unspecified location. The complainant said a female subject was outside the residence in violation of a court order. Deputies arrested Rita Gabriella Lozano, 23, for violation of the no-contact order and a state Department of Corrections detention warrant. Lozano was booked into the Grant County Jail.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the 11800 block of State Route 28 West. Christine Lopez, 42, Quincy, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into the county jail.
A shoplifting incident was reported at 11:58 a.m. Tuesday in the 8100 block of Valley Road NE near Moses Lake. Authorities alleged that Hannah Lynn Gannon, 20, Moses Lake, had concealed merchandise in her purse at the Dollar General store, then provided misleading information to a responding deputy. She was booked into jail on suspicion of third-degree theft and making false or misleading statements to a public servant.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:18 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the 700 block of Road 18.5-NE in the Grant Orchards area. Authorities said there was an altercation involving a female subject who allegedly took a family member’s personal possessions including a cell phone, car keys, and debit card. Responding deputies arrested Lizeth Paniagua, 36, Soap Lake, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked her into jail.
A report of suspicious circumstances was received at 8:28 a.m. Sunday in the 10200 block of Road 36-NE near Coulee City. The complainant said a male subject came to the residence, packed up her possessions and put them outside. Deputies arrested Ramon David Noggles, 49, Coulee City, for violation of a court no-contact/protection order and booked him into jail.
The following law enforcement reports were posted Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026:
EPHRATA POLICE
While on patrol at 8:11 p.m. Thursday, July 30, an officer initiated a traffic stop for an alleged seatbelt violation near the intersection of D Street and Third Avenue S.E. Following a records check, Sam E. Engelhardt, 41, Ephrata, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
At 6:24 p.m. Thursday, police received a request to check on a male subject seen sitting in a roadside ditch along State Route 28 West. An officer located the man, who said he sat down after becoming dizzy. The man then became unconscious while being examined by emergency medical personnel who transported him to Columbia Basin Hospital.
A theft was reported at 3:22 p.m. Thursday. Police were told a firearm had been stolen from a location in the first block of Linda Ridge Loop.
A disturbance was reported at 7:25 p.m. Monday near the intersection of D Street and Sixth Avenue S.W. Police were told two men holding “blunt weapons” — a wood pole and a metal pipe — were engaged in a verbal argument. No assault occurred, but officers determined there was probable cause to take one of the men into custody. Duane Alan Bolton, 31, Cashmere, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful display of a weapon and violation of a court protection order. He was booked into the Grant County Jail.
A theft was reported at 1:31 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Basin Street S.W. The complainant said a pallet half-filled with roof shingles had been stolen from her yard. Officers viewed surveillance video of the area and observed a possible suspect vehicle. The incident was under investigation.
A malicious mischief incident was reported at 10:48 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of C Street N.W. The complainant said the rear window of his vehicle had been shattered after being struck by some foreign object overnight.
A theft was reported at 7:54 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in the 300 block of E Street N.E. The complainant said someone had taken her barbecue from her porch. Officers viewed surveillance video of the area and identified a suspect who was contacted and complied with a directive to return the barbecue.
A hit-and-run incident involving attended vehicle damage was reported at 12:58 p.m. Saturday, July 25 in the 1100 block of Basin Street S.W. Renee L. Dishman, 50, Ephrata, said she was exiting the Safeway store parking lot when a southbound vehicle on Basin Street struck her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt and left the scene without stopping.
Following a traffic stop for equipment violations at 12:17 a.m. last Friday, July 24, Kurt A. Bennett, 25, Ephrata, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle at night without headlights.
While on patrol at 1:18 p.m. last Thursday, July 23, an officer observed an erratically driven vehicle in the first block of D Street S.E. Magda I. Pena Garza, 53, Soap Lake, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence.
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF
A missing person and possible drowning was reported at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, July 30, on Banks Lake in the vicinity of Northrup Point and Steamboat Rock State Park. The reporting party said a male friend had jumped off a boat and never resurfaced. Deputies and rescue personnel searched that evening and again Friday but did not locate the missing man.
A harassment incident was reported at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, in the 700 block of Lakeside Way SW near Mattawa. The complainant said an unknown teenaged male had knocked on her door around 9 p.m., run off, then contacted her on Facebook with posts saying, “I’m back for more.” The complainant requested the incidents to be documented by deputies.
Authorities received a 911 call at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday and heard a male subject yelling at a female to leave. Deputies determined a location and responded to the 800 block of Road U-SE near Warden. Elias Joseph Longoria, 39, no town listed, was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and unlawful display of a weapon.
An animal attack was reported at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday in the 12900 block of Road A.5-NW near Ephrata. Authorities were told that four dogs escaped their fenced yard and attacked a male subject who was walking by and another person who attempted to help. Both individuals sustained multiple bite wounds and were transported to Columbia Basin Hospital for medical care. Ephrata police also responded to the incident, which was under investigation.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:03 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Main Street in Coulee City. Authorities were told that an 82-year-old woman had threatened to shoot a male subject living at her home. Responding deputies did not locate a firearm, but the suspect, Judy Moo, was cited on suspicion of harassment (domestic violence).
At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, July 26, authorities were advised of an intentional hit-and-run incident in the Warden area and a suspect walking away from a vehicle parked in nearby Adams County. Deputies located 63-year-old Peter Jamie Ross, who was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief, reckless driving, and hit-and-run (attended vehicle damage).
An unspecified disturbance was reported at 3:38 p.m. last Saturday, July 25, at the Gorge Amphitheater in the 700 block of Silica Road NW. Benjamin Jason Roberts, 36, Bremerton, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 5:36 p.m. last Friday, July 24, in the 9100 block of Eagle Lane NW at Crescent Bar. The complainant said she was arguing with her boyfriend who allegedly threw her against a wall. Austin Jordan Ronald Walker, 33, Quincy, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of harassment and second-degree assault.
Authorities were notified at 5:19 p.m. last Friday, July 24, of a verbal disturbance in the 7700 block of Clink Road NE near Moses Lake. Dispatchers said a couple were arguing and the man allegedly threatened to drag the woman out of the residence. Deputies responded to the location and determined the woman, 34-year-old Ramona Louise Gonzales of Moses Lake, was wanted on six outstanding district court warrants. She was taken into custody and booked into jail.
At 10:03 p.m. last Thursday, July 23, deputies located a wanted subject near the intersection of Roosevelt Drive and Martin Road in Grand Coulee. Blake Moyer, 22, Grand Coulee, was taken into custody on an outstanding superior court warrant and booked into jail.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 5:49 p.m. last Thursday, July 23, in the 10000 block of Sagedale Road NE near Moses Lake. The complainant said he was hit on the chin by a former girlfriend who allegedly threatened to kill his son and was refusing to leave the residence. Shara Beth Clarke, 40, Moses Lake, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), unlawful imprisonment, and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:26 p.m. last Wednesday, July 22, in the 600 block of South Harrison Avenue in Warden. A male subject was accused of damaging property and taking a cell phone from a female acquaintance. Esleyder A. Chirinos Dudamel, 23, Othello, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief and second-degree robbery.
A vehicle prowl was reported at 7:10 a.m. last Wednesday, July 22, in the 100 block of East Arch Street in Coulee City. The complainant said a handgun and binoculars had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects were identified.
