The following reports were posted Friday, Nov. 28, 2025

 GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF

A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 4800 block of Airway Drive NE, near Moses Lake. Authorities were told that a woman and man were fighting, and the woman hit the man in the lip with her phone. When contacted by a deputy, the man declined to press charges and the woman was provided a ride to a local motel by Moses Lake police.

At 10:21 p.m. Tuesday, authorities were notified that a male subject in his early 20s with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg had been dropped off at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake by an unnamed person who drove away. Deputies determined the man had been shot by another individual, possibly a coworker, while inside a vehicle in the 4700 block of Stratford Road NE. The reason for the shooting was not immediately determined. A suspect, 28-year-old Darwin Nahun Tejada Martinez, was later arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and booked into the Grant County Jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday in the 9000 block of Bong Loop NE near Moses Lake. A child caller notified authorities that her parents were punching each other. A deputy contacted the couple, who were described as uncooperative. Both individuals had visible physical marks and the female subject allegedly admitted pushing the male subject to the living room floor. Stephanie Ann Baker, 40, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into jail. The male subject declined to provide a statement or request a protection order.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 13000 block of Arnold Drive NE near Moses Lake. A female caller told authorities that a dispute was escalating and a male family member was attempting to hit others. A deputy contacted the involved parties and determined the man had attempted to punch the complainant in the face. Joaquin Mora Arias, 52, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of attempted fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into jail.

A theft was reported at 7:19 a.m. Tuesday in the 16300 block of Road 5-NW, south of Quincy. An employee of Western Ranch Buildings LLC said a 2023 Criterion cargo trailer left overnight at Crites Seed Inc. had been stolen from a work site. The trailer was valued at $15,000 and contained tools valued at $25,000.

A one-vehicle wreck was reported at 7:09 p.m. Monday in the 10200 block of Stratford Road NE, north of Moses Lake. Authorities were told that a male subject who appeared to be intoxicated had driven off the road into a ditch with cattails. A deputy contacted the driver, who allegedly admitted to drinking earlier and refused to undergo a field sobriety test. Ivan Leslie Tibbs, 49, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:45 p.m. Monday in the 8500 block of Crescent Bar Road NW, west of Quincy. Authorities were told that a female subject who possibly suffers from dementia had attacked and threatened to kill a 49-year-old female family member, who sustained visible markings and had dried blood on her face. Pamela A. Whitesell, 70, Quincy, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and felony harassment/threats to kill.

A report of threats was received at 5:18 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of Grape Drive NE, near Moses Lake. The complainant said a male subject had sent her threatening text messages the prior evening, then arrived at her trailer armed with a machete. The woman said the suspect was upset because his brother was staying at the location. When she locked the door, the suspect allegedly swung at it with the machete, breaking a window, then left but later returned and was taken into custody. Arturo Gomez, 56, Moses Lake, was booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, felony harassment/threats to kill, and third-degree malicious mischief.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 5:30 a.m. Monday in the 22000 block of East Cardinal Road NE, near Grand Coulee. The complainant said her boyfriend entered her trailer while she was sleeping, an argument ensued, and the man allegedly grabbed and squeezed her throat, then broke her television. A responding deputy searched for the suspect, including his known residence, but was unable to initially locate him.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office said snowy, icy conditions contributed to several blocking collisions on roadways, including this jackknifed semi tractor and trailer reported at 7:34 a.m. Wednesday on White Trail Road, southwest of Quincy near Roads U-NW and 5-NW. The following incident reports were posted Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025

EPHRATA POLICE

At 11:49 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of E Street N.E., an officer became aware of a man and woman communicating in possible violation of a court no-contact order. After confirming the order was valid, 37-year-old Antonio Tavera Corona of Ephrata was arrested for the alleged violation and an outstanding district court warrant. Corona was booked into the Grant County Jail.

At 9:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, an officer observed a burglary suspect in a vehicle and attempted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Basin S.W. The suspect, 31-year-old Jakob P. Sjolin of Ephrata, allegedly abandoned the car and fled on foot, but was later located and booked into the county jail. According to the report, Sjolin had burglary tools in his possession, resisted arrest, and attempted to assault an officer. Soap Lake police and Grant County sheriff’s deputies assisted in the response. Sjolin is accused of breaking into several storage units last Monday, Nov. 17, at the Ephrata Prime Rentals facility in the 2100 block of Basin Street S.W.

A report of shoplifting was received at 7:21 p.m. last Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the 1100 block of Basin Street S.W. Police said a male subject, 32-year-old Jose Juan Aguirre Vasquez of Moses Lake, was accused of opening and consuming food and alcohol inside the Ephrata Safeway without paying. Officers informed Vasquez that he was trespassed from the premises, but he allegedly returned a short time later. Vasquez was then arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft and booked into the county jail.

SOAP LAKE POLICE

At 8:21 p.m. Sunday, an officer responded to a residence in the 19400 block of Lakeview Place NW, where a male subject was experiencing effects from a drug-related overdose. Medics on scene evaluated the man and transported him to the hospital to be medically cleared. At the homeowner’s request, police informed the man that he was trespassed from the property.

At 3:58 p.m. Saturday, an officer initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle with expired license tabs near the intersection of Division Street and Third Avenue S.E. Upon contact, the officer learned that the driver was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for failure to comply. Dorothy Peters, 60, Soap Lake, was taken into custody and booked into the Grant County Jail.

Keaton Adams, 35, Soap Lake, was cited for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at 2:06 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, near the intersection of West Main Avenue and South Dogwood Street.

While on patrol at 4:44 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, an officer observed a vehicle with a faulty taillight housing. Following a traffic stop near the intersection of State Route 28 East and Division Road North, 40-year-old Summer Ranes of Quincy was cited for driving with a suspended license.

GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF

Shortly after noon on Saturday, deputies located a wanted subject in the 14000 block of Road A.7-SW near Royal City. When contacted, the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Tyler James May, allegedly gave a false name, cussed at the deputies, then began running away. After a short foot chase, May was tackled, taken into custody, and booked into the Grant County Jail on a state Department of Corrections detention warrant and new charges of third-degree escape and making false or misleading statements to police.

Authorities were notified at 5:30 a.m. Saturday of a domestic disturbance in the 19000 block of Road 5.5-SW near Quincy. According to the report, a male subject had assaulted his pregnant girlfriend during an argument, then damaged her car. When they arrived on scene, deputies said the suspect, 21-year-old Samuel Alejandro Gonzalez of Quincy, initially failed to exit the residence when instructed to do so. Gonzalez was eventually taken into custody and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence), and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 22500 block of Road U.2-SW near Mattawa. The complainant told deputies and Mattawa police that a male acquaintance was intoxicated, punched her in the chest during an argument, then took her phone and broke it. Augusto Moreno Lopez, 34, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.

A malicious mischief incident was reported at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, in the 31000 block of Moore Road NE near Coulee City. The complainant said she allowed a former boyfriend to stay at her property while she was away with a verbal agreement that he would pay her. Upon return, the complainant said she discovered that keys were missing, an electric heater cord had been cut, and plumbing had been damaged. A responding deputy said the complainant could not provide any specific evidence that the vandalism had been committed by the ex-boyfriend. The woman advised she would instead seek a court protection order.

A theft was reported at 3 p.m. last Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the 4000 block of Martin Road NW near Ephrata. The complainant said she saw two men on her property stealing wood. When she confronted them, one of the suspects allegedly attempted to run her over with a truck. The woman then followed the suspects until they were detained by law enforcement. The alleged driver, 51-year-old Jeffery Eugene Brooks of Quincy, was booked into jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree theft. Deputies said a report will be submitted to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges against Brooks’ companion, a 55-year-old Ephrata man.

A disturbance was reported at 7:15 p.m. last Monday, Nov. 17, in the 100 block of Bing Avenue in George. According to the report, a male subject wanted to purchase some items at the local Dollar Tree store, but became upset because a clerk was not available at the check-out counter. The man allegedly entered an employee-only office, began yelling at a store employee who was on a meal break, subsequently pushed the employee multiple times with his chest, then left the store when the employee phoned to notify authorities. Deputies later located the suspect, 51-year-old Michael Joseph Tremont, who was booked into jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.


The following police reports were posted Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025:

EPHRATA POLICE

At 5:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, officers responded to the state Sunrise Community Facility in the 1400 block of East Division Avenue and took a resident into custody. Jonathan Riley, 18, Ephrata, was arrested on a warrant for fugitive from justice and booked into the Grant County Jail.

A disturbance was reported at 10:26 a.m. last Thursday, Nov. 13, in the first block of C Street N.W. Police were told that a male subject had become upset and damaged property at the Grant County Courthouse. Ronald E. Rollins, 41, Moses Lake, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief.

SOAP LAKE POLICE

A burglary was reported at 11:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Juniper Street. The complainant advised that she and her husband returned home after an absence and discovered that an unknown suspect entered the residence by removing a bathroom window screen. A jewelry holder with several pairs of earrings was missing.

A theft was reported at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday in the first block of South Evergreen Street. The complainant told police that he let a friend borrow his truck, but the friend was later taken into custody by other law enforcement officers. The complainant was advised that it was not considered theft because he had given permission to the friend to use the truck. But he was also advised to notify police if the truck was not returned by Wednesday.

Police on Tuesday were notified that a male subject was pretending to be the homeowner of a residence in the 100 block of South Juniper Street. Evaan Syrah Solomon, 55, Soap Lake, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree theft and first-degree criminal impersonation. Solomon was booked into the Grant County Jail.

Following a traffic stop at 9:50 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Daisy Street and Fourth Avenue N.E., Lluvia Echevarria, 45, Seattle, was cited for driving with a suspended license.

A report of threats was received at 11:56 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at Soap Lake Junior/Senior High School. The complainant said a student had threatened to kill her grandson. Officers took a 14-year-old boy into custody on suspicion of felony harassment/threats to kill and transported him to the Grant County Juvenile Services Center in Ephrata.

GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 2:58 p.m. Wednesday, a female caller notified authorities of a disturbance at an unspecified location. Deputies contacted the complainant and later arrested Jeffery Eugene Brooks, 51, Quincy, on suspicion of attempted second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree theft. Brooks was booked into the Grant County Jail.

At 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, authorities were advised that a male subject appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drug when observed getting out of a vehicle at an unspecified location. Deputies later located the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Jose Juan Aguirre Vazquez, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and tampering or disabling a vehicle-ignition interlock device. He was booked into the county jail.  

At 7:15 p.m. Monday, authorities were advised that a male subject had pushed another individual during a physical disturbance. Michael Joseph Tremont, 51, Quincy, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and booked into the county jail.

Following a traffic stop at 3:12 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Valley Road NE near Moses Lake, 38-year-old John Daniel Love was cited for driving with a suspended license and arrested on three outstanding district court warrants for failure to appear. He was booked into the county jail.

While on patrol at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, a deputy observed a motorist nearly drive off the road at the intersection of State Route 17 North and Phoenix Drive NE near Moses Lake. After a traffic stop, 29-year-old Paloma Guadalupe Vega-Alvarado was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the county jail.

At 6:48 p.m. last Saturday, Nov. 15, authorities were notified that a male subject in a vehicle was stopped and blocking the roadway at the intersection of Eastside and Highline Drives NE near Moses Lake. A responding deputy said he found the driver intoxicated and asleep at the wheel. Ian Michael Christensen, 37, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the county jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:05 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, in the 13000 block of State Route 28 West, south of Ephrata. The complainant said a male family member had threatened to kill her mother and younger brother. Rene Fuentes Pineda, 34, Ephrata, was arrested on suspicion of felony harassment/threats to kill and booked into the county jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 10 a.m. last Friday, Nov. 14, in th 32000 block of Westshore Drive NE near Moses Lake. Deputies contacted a couple who each alleged they had been assaulted by the other. No physical marks were observed on the wife, but light physical marks were observed on the husband. Sheila Kubat, 67, Moses Lake, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into the county jail. She was released the following morning. Around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, deputies were again notified of a disturbance involving the couple. The husband showed a video of his wife allegedly slapping his phone out of his hands, and alleged that she threatened to hit him over the head with a sledgehammer while he slept. Sheila Kubat was again arrested and booked into jail for domestic assault and felony harassment/threats to kill.


The following reports were posted Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025:

EPHRATA POLICE

A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of E Street N.E. Police were told that a male subject had assaulted a female family member at the location. Officers arrested Mariano Ruiz Balderas, 26, Moses Lake, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked him into the Grant County Jail.

At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a shoplifting report in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. They were told that a female subject had returned to the Ephrata Walmart after previously being banned from the premises. Anabel Nunez, 32, Quincy, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary and an outstanding superior court warrant.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:40 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Frey Road NW. Authorities were told that a female subject had assaulted a male acquaintance at the location. Windy Elliott Wanderer, 58, of Longview, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into jail.

A vandalism incident was reported at 2:25 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Division Avenue. Police were told that male subject had purchased merchandise at the Mi Casa Market store, then threw an unspecified object through a front window, breaking it, when he exited. No motive was immediately identified. Adrian Navarro, 20, Medical Lake, was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief and booked into jail.

SOAP LAKE POLICE

A disturbance involving a possible assault was reported at 9:10 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of South Fir Street. Authorities were told that two Soap Lake men, ages 49 and 35, were involved in an altercation with a 55-year-old Soap Lake man in a possible dispute over a vehicle. Officers gathered evidence and documented injuries sustained by the older man. A report will be submitted to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of a misdemeanor assault charge against the 49-year-old and making false statements to a law enforcement officer against the 35-year-old. Grant County sheriff’s deputies also responded to the incident.

At 5:18 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, officers assisted Ephrata police in searching for a juvenile accused of domestic assault in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue S.E. in Ephrata. Soap Lake officers helped search the area, but the suspect was not immediately located.

At 5:02 p.m. last Thursday, Nov. 6, a 58-year-old Soap Lake man came to the police department and requested that a male acquaintance be ordered to stay away from his property in the 100 block of North Elder Street. An officer located and advised the man that he was permanently trespassed from the address.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:39 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, in the 100 block of Division Street. Officers contacted a 46-year-old Soap Lake woman who said a male acquaintance had pushed her to the ground and punched her in the forearm. Ian Jacob Libby, 35, Soap Lake, was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and out-of-county and state corrections detention warrants.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:17 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, in the 400 block of Second Avenue N.E. where two male acquaintances, ages 21 and 24, were fighting. After interviewing the two individuals and others at the location, police arrested Christian Foster, 21, Moses Lake, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). Foster was booked into the county jail. Sheriff’s deputies and Ephrata police also responded to the incident.

The following individuals were stopped at various times and locations over the past week and cited for driving with a suspended license: Anika Wren, 21, Moses Lake, and Dean Bennett, 59, Soap Lake.

GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy observed a wanted subject in the 7000 block of Rainier Road NE near Moses Lake. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Armando Arturo Rubio of Moses Lake, was taken into custody and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding superior court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-degree theft.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Viewmont Drive SE near Moses Lake. Authorities were told that a male subject was “having an episode” and became upset after a female family member had provided medicine to a younger female in the residence who was ill. The man allegedly yelled at and pushed the older woman several times, then threw a TV remote at her. Deputies arrested Paul Anthony Cardwell, 41, Moses Lake, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked him into the county jail.

A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Roads E-SW and 13.5-SW near Royal City. Authorities said Jose Madrigal, 39, Eltopia, was driving a 2011 Mack semi truck with a trailer when he attempted a right-hand turn at the intersection. An unsecured container on the trailer shifted weight, causing the semi to tilt onto its side. Madrigal sustained minor injuries in the accident, the report stated.

A theft was reported at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday at locations in the 13500 block of Road 28-SW and the intersection of Roads 26-SW and R-SW, all near Mattawa. The complainant said a trio of GPS sytems, including display screens, antennas, and domes, had been stolen from tractors at his farm and shop. The total loss was estimated at $105,000. The complainant said he was gathering additional details on the equipment to provide to investigators.

An unwanted subject was reported at 4:49 p.m. last Friday, Nov. 7, in the 9000 block of McConnell Drive NE near Moses Lake. The complainant said a male subject was at her residence and refusing to leave. Authorities alleged the man had earlier said he was armed with a handgun and threatened to kill two people at the location. Deputies arrested Jamie J. Martinez, 33, Moses Lake, on suspicion of two counts of felony harassment/threats to kill. He was booked into the county jail.


The following police reports were posted Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025:

EPHRATA POLICE 

At 7:46 a.m. Monday, police were advised of a shoplifting attempt in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. Officers were told that a male subject had been detained at the Ephrata Walmart after allegedly trying to push out a cart of merchandise without paying. It was determined that the suspect, 23-year-old Juan Espinoza Paz of Othello, had previously been banned from all Walmart properties. Espinoza was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and booked into the Grant County Jail.

Police were advised at 7:13 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, that a man and woman attempted to steal merchandise from the Ephrata Walmart and fled in a vehicle toward Moses Lake. Grant County sheriff’s deputies located the vehicle around 11:30 p.m. and took the two suspects in custody. Julia Ann Rocha, 22, and Osvaldo Jesus Villalobos, 27, both of Moses Lake, were booked into the county jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary after previously being banned from all Walmart properties.

A shoplifting attempt was reported at 7:06 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, in the 200 block of Basin Street N.W. A 17-year-old boy was detained for stealing a bottle of alcohol from the Chevron convenience store. The boy was released to the custody of his parents.

GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF

A domestic disturbance was reported at 11 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of State Route 28 West and White Trail Road, west of Quincy. The complainant said he was driving when a female family member allegedly attacked him. The man told authorities that he was “scared for his life” and hiding in an area orchard. Deputies located the man and determined that he was the suspected assailant. David Shawn Sovey, 47, no address listed, was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A burglary was reported at 8:20 a.m. Monday in the 13000 block of Dodson Road NW, about one mile south of Ephrata. Deputies said unknown suspects cut a gate padlock and entered a fenced Grant County PUD substation sometime over the weekend. The suspects then broke into a locked trailer owned by a contractor and stole tools valued over $11,000. No serial numbers on the tools were available. The incident remains under investigation.

 A domestic disturbance was reported at 5:25 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of State Route 283 North, near Quincy. Deputies were told that a male subject was searching for vehicle keys belonging to a female acquaintance. When he could not find them, the man allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm and shoved her. Manuel Mora Barajas, 58, Quincy, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and booked into the county jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 6:38 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, in the 13000 block of Road M-SE near Moses Lake. The complainant said her 14-year-old granddaughter had assaulted her and was throwing items inside the residence. The girl allegedly refused to speak to a responding deputy and resisted arrest when detained on suspicion of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). The teen was transported to the Chelan County Juvenile Detention facility in Wenatchee.  

WASHINGTON STATE PATROL

A two-vehicle, injury collision was reported at 8:53 a.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 6) on State Route 262, seven miles east of Royal City. Troopers said Michael J. Richards, 55, Othello, was driving eastbound when his 2018 Ram 1500 pickup struck the rear of a motorized farm implement driven by Hugo C. Verduzco, 55, Royal City. The impact caused the farm implement to roll on its side and eject Verduzco, who sustained unspecified injuries and was airlifted to Kadlec Hospital in the Tri-Cities. Both vehicles came to rest fully blocking the highway. Richards, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured. Distracted driving was a factor in the collision and Richards faces a charge of second-degree negligent driving, the WSP report stated.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday on State Route 17 about five miles south of Moses Lake. Troopers said Ashley M. Moreno, 30, Warden, was driving a 2019 Thomas Built school bus eastbound on Road 3-SE, stopped at the intersection stop sign, then entered the highway. The school bus collided with a 2007 Honda Ridgeline pickup driven by Juan E. Mendoza, 21, Kennewick, who was southbound on SR 17. No injuries were reported to either driver – both of whom were wearing seatbelts – or three juvenile bus passengers, ages 14, 12, and 9. Moreno was cited for failure to yield to motor vehicle, the WSP report stated.

At 5:46 p.m. last Thursday, Oct. 30, authorities were notified that a male passenger on a Greyhound bus traveled westbound on Interstate 90 had displayed a knife and threatened another passenger following a stop at Moses Lake. Local police, the Washington State Patrol and Grant County Sheriff’s Office were notified of the incident and a suspect was located in Monroe and taken into custody. Ryan L. Mickelson, 44, Jamestown, North Dakota, was booked in the Grant County Jail and charged with second-degree assault with a deadly weapon. The alleged victim, who was not injured, told police that he feared for his life and did not know Mickelson or why Mickelson threatened him.
